Muonionalusta meteorites are a type of iron meteorite that have been found in northern Sweden. They have an unusually high content of nickel and display a distinctive Widmanstätten pattern, which is created by the slow cooling of the meteorite in space. Muonionalusta meteorites are believed to have originated from a core-mantle boundary of a large asteroid, likely dating back 4.5 billion years.
