Everything that you see has undergone a thorough authentication process long before it is even listed by our incredibly knowledgeable staff. I personally verify the authenticity of an item the second I see and hold the fossil, mineral, or artifact. I've been doing this long enough to be able to tell if something is manufactured, if I were blind folded. We do not offer any sort of certificate due to the fact that they are incredibly hard to make and get done just for most people to throw them out upon receiving them. Anything that has been reconstructed or restored to get the specimen as close to its natural state will be disclosed in every listing. Realistically these specimens have been around for hundreds of millions of years and they don't tend to come out of the ground absolutely perfect every single time. Most of the time these specimens must be consolidated and carefully extracted to then restore them to the strongest and most natural state.
