Camp del Cielo meteorites are a group of iron meteorites found in the Gran Chaco region of Argentina in 1576. They are composed mostly of iron-nickel alloy and contain a variety of other minerals. They range in size from small fragments to larger masses, the largest weighing around 3700 kg. The meteorites are believed to have originated from the same parent body and are thought to have formed 4. 5 billion years ago.
