Moroccan starfish

This specimen contains 3 brittle star fossils from the upper Ordovician kataoua formation in Morroco. These fossils date back to the Ordovician period (485 - 443 million years ago) and represent some of the oldest known starfish species. They provide important clues into the evolution of modern starfish and are a valuable source of information for studying the marine life of the Ordovician period.
